Willi Berger was founded in 1949 as a metalworking company based in Berlin-Wedding. After the death of the founder in 1976, the sole proprietorship was transformed into today's W. Berger GmbH. The increasing expansion of the customer base and the associated increase in performance made it necessary to move to the new 3,500 square metre production hall in Berlin-Wittenau (Reinickendorf) in 1990.
The production of electric insect catching devices began as early as 1968.
Since 1969, our company has been developing a wide range of practical devices for trade, catering and industry and now offers an extensive range of insect catching devices made in Germany. From these devices, an independent product line of high-voltage devices was developed. This was followed in 1996 by the development and manufacture of adhesive trapping devices. There are now solution-orientated devices for every application. Currently, more than 20 different types of devices are offered and exported to over 22 countries.
